Do Trump supporters love their country?

We are all Americans. We are not usually in the habit of questioning another citizen's patriotism.

However, we cannot help but be skeptical of what some folks are able to overlook. Their loyalty to Donald Trump is beyond all bounds of normalcy and decency. We all have kinfolks that we can relate to.

There is no doubt but that Donald Trump is a liar and a cheat. He has always been a liar and a cheat, long before he entered the White House. That is no big deal for his supporters. What about the Clintons, they ask?

Being a "businessman" does not give one the privilege or the right to ignore the laws of our Constitution. A president cannot make "deals" for himself and pretend it is in the interest of all America. He cannot steal from the American taxpayers.

According to legal documents from the Michael Cohen investigation, Donald Trump is an "unindicted co-conspirator" in paying off a porn star and a Playboy bunny, to keep them from talking just before the election in 2016. It is a big deal. For all Americans. If it had been made public, Donald Trump probably would not be sitting in the White House today?

As difficult as it may be to accept for his supporters, Donald Trump is stealing money from the American taxpayers. We have known since 2016 that he had money connections to Russia and Saudi Arabia. We still do not know the extent of the connections. Thanks to his supporters, they never thought it was important. After all, he was a "businessman".

All politics aside, if you love your country you cannot let this continue. We now hear Donald Trump is using the military to stuff his own pockets. He is ordering the military to stay at his hotels and golf courses and re-fuel huge transport planes with jet fuel close to his establishments, instead of at a military installation. This cannot be acceptable to any American, Trump supporter or not.

There comes a time when one has to take their head out of the sand and open their eyes and look around. Trump supporters have created a situation that is untenable. It is up to them to help us get out of it. Or maybe they don't love America as much as they pretend?

To cover up their eyes, ears, and mouth, and shut out all disagreeable thought, is no longer acceptable. The country is in dire straights and it is the Trump supporters that put it there. It is no longer enough to say, "But we didn't get Hillary". It is not up to the opponents of Trump to rescue this country. It is up to the folks that put us in this mess. They know who they are. And we know who they are.

Yes, these words are probably a waste of breath and effort but sometimes things just need to be said. We cannot save those that do not wish to be saved. We can waste no more time on them. It is too valuable and too important.

and their own subjective delusions about what is the "real" country. Their subjective version of the country is white, christian, selfish, undisciplined, and worships money and guns, and justified at hating others.

and they want to "return" to a time that never was.

They are people who are able to assume that any problems they have are due to the "other" screwing them over when, in fact, most of the people of the red hat woulds (do) screw anyone over to make a penny or simply to make them feel better.

If it weren't for the "other", they'd all be rich or some such nonsense.

I tire of these people. They need to face reality.

7. First, you should ask them just what they think "their" country is.

These are not people who sing "This land is your land, this land is my land."

I'm betting less than 5% of them who live outside of New England could name four or more New England States. I'm also betting they couldn't name three National Parks and their locations outside of their home states. I would also dare suspect they have no clue who the first six presidents of the US were (much less in which order), or what the three branches of our government are.

I get the impression that plenty of them, maybe a majority, know of "their" country what they see on TV and what is within a 50 mile radius of where they live.
