Trump may feel like he doesn't need Pence to keep the evangelicals on his side.

He may believe that Ivanka can help garner more of the women's vote. (good luck with that) And, that he can consolidate power, get his child some kind of credibility to justify her hanging-on at the White House, and even set her up for an eventual run at the Presidency...if he ever steps down.

Her election would bypass the Anti-Nepotism Statute put in place after Bobby Kennedy was appointed U.S. Attorney General by JFK.

It is an insane move, which is precisely why I wouldn't put it past him.

The only question is, would the RNC roll over and take it like the servile dogs they have become?

This is so insane! It is so clear that all these photo ops lately w/ Ivanka are just to position her to run for office - most likely VP or Pres, god forbid. I really feel like I am taking crazy pills. This cannot be happening.
