bearable on many occasions. Sometimes those guests hit Joe where he lives--like the guy this morning calling out religious hypocrisy on the right-- and that is almost delicious

I do like Willy.

They are like the Palins. Remember when they hauled ass to Mar a Lago to party with Trump et al?

His show and his guests do a better job of eviscerating and exposing the trump crime family than almost anyone else on television. His show does this 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. I am satisfied that he has done enough to atone for his past. He has disowned the republican party and I cannot fathom his return simply because a Democrat is elected president. The republicans who remain in office after 2020 that he has curb stomped for the last 2 years will give him plenty of incentive to continue on the path he has now chosen. His daily audience is around 1,000,000 people. He has probably influenced thousands of those people to rethink their opinion of trump by exposing him with the use of educated guests and facts.

So tell me, what has anyone here done to top that? Unforgiving bitterness should not run so deep in the Democratic Party.

He has quit the republican party and is now an independent. He may not have abandoned all of his conservative values, but he has thoroughly rejected trump's republican party. What you have brought up is a minor difference in opinion, and does not even scratch the surface of the subject matter in my post. I suspect that most of Joe Scarborough's haters would rather he not be such an outspoken critic of the trump crime family which many would perceive as justification for that hate. Unfortunately for them quite the opposite is true, and despite his past he has proven to be a valued voice against trump's degenerate republican party.

He's done a damn good job at tearing into tRump and his evil regime. I'll cheer him on all the way.

But I also believe that if a more traditional type of republican got in the WH, he'd be running to reclaim that party like no other. Joe's not tRump's repub party. That's for sure. But it doesn't make him any less than what he was before 2016.

.... Thanks for agreeing with most of the talking points in my original post. You believe he will return to exactly what he was before the Trump debacle, but you offer only a belief in defense in your statement about that turnaround. My argument is that he will still hold conservative values, which I have already stated, but I do not believe he will return to the Republican Party but remain an independent. My reasoning, as stated before, is because of those Republicans who have been, and still are Trump puppets who undoubtedly will still be in office. I think they will provide enough incentive for him to keep the heat on those who will still be trying to spread Trump's poison. It's a difference of opinion, and remains to be seen who's is correct.
