Just tried looking at FreeRepublic... WTF?...

So I know a lot of people here talk about "that other site", freepers etc.. Well to be honest I've never bothered to take a look at the site. I just figured it was just a regular forum full of right wing hate filled wack jobs and racists, and IT IS. But I just decided to take a look at it a few hours ago. I have to say, ASIDE from the politics, WTF is going on on that site? It has to be one of the worst designed forums I've ever seen! Reminds me of something I might have put together in the early 90s learning html for the first time. The site is a fucking mess! You can't follow anything. I actually wanted to look for some of the hate filled shit posted there but spent more time looking and getting lost than finding.

But you have to realize people that can't spell cannot be expected to understand anything about how to lay out a page let alone an entire web site.

BTW I highly recommend a hot shower after visiting the site. The hotter the better with lots of a strong soap.

The forum there started in around '97 and it hasn't been changed much since. But their operating budget is only $350,000 a year, so what can you expect?
