And energy-efficient lights tend to emit a cooler light than regular incandescent bulbs, so they should make him look less orange, not more. His problem is that he is, in fact, as orange as a pumpkin. All he has to do is stop using a spray-on fake tanning product, and he wouldn't be orange in any light. His face would still look like a scrotum with eyes, though.
