GOP House leader tries to blame election fraud for huge Republican losses in California

Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy offered no evidence to back up his wild conspiracy theory about why Republicans lost so badly in 2018.

On Friday morning, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy provided no evidence to back up his claim of election fraud in California while giving a misleading press conference lamenting how badly Republicans lost in the 2018 midterm elections.

During a press conference from a Republican retreat in Baltimore, McCarthy began his discussion about California voting laws by lying about California voting laws.

McCarthy correctly stated that many people in California vote by mail. Voters who mail in their ballot must sign the envelopes. But McCarthy gives a wildly misleading statement about new election laws in the state.

"In California, they changed the election law," McCarthy said. "When it went in to the election office, your ballot didn't count yet," he added, noting election officials check the signature against a signature on file to ensure they match.

Any time you want to know what the GOP is up to, just look at what they accuse the Democrats of doing. It never fails.

Kevin McCarthy is one of the reasons. He and his party left the middle to the Democrats. Something to think about.

More than a few Democratic office holders are former Greens in NorCal and represent former red districts in Socal

Kevin McCarthy can’t admit to himself that the Teabagger/Republican agenda is and was extraordinarily unpopular. The tax plan alone since none of it went to even the upper middle classes pocket books was pouring gasoline on the fire. That resulted in the 2018 drubbing.

Now Trump and his acolytes are fucking over the farmers, manufacturers are reducing production and laying people off because of the trade war that was “so easy to win”. Oh, and he’s stealing money from the defense budget to build a wall that no one wants.

As I said in another post—this isn’t the horse race the corporate media portrays. The idiots that voted for Trump in 2016 are waking up to reality. They may only watch Fox but the old white folks like me get their AARP magazine every month. The people in the military get their own magazines. The shit is going to hit the fan very soon.

That’s why Kevin McCarthy, Moscow Mitch, and Trump are freaking out.

Even Fox is beginning to call these fools out.

Tick tock. The time don’t stop.
