(42,550 posts)While the grounds for divorce cited in the documents are irreconcilable differences, inappropriate marital conduct and adultery, the details behind the accusations are graphic, explicit and disturbing. Among the claims made by Evans in the filed documents are:
Evans alleges that Schelske has frequently verbually abused, emotionally abused and harassed Wife.
Evans alleges that Schelske frequently watches pornography on the familys computers and that on September 28, 2006, the couples oldest child confronted [Schelske] at the parties residence when he was watching pornographic material on the television.
Evans claims that Schelske keeps more than 100 photos of Schelske posing with his erect penis and there are several photographs showing the defendant having sex with other women.
Access Hollywood has not been able to contact Schelske or a representative for comment. Schleske, a Republican, had an unsuccessful bid for Congress in 2002 from Oregons 5th District.

ETA: I don't have time to look for it right now, but I'm pretty sure Huckabee said much the same thing encouraging people to vote for Sara before everything imploded.

(42,550 posts)Yes, The Hammer is tackling an important new project: Working to make sure that liberal cast members of Dancing with the Stars 3 are defeated by a good friend of mine and a strong supporter of the Republican Party, country singer Sara Evans. In an e.mail message to supporters, he writes, in part,
Sara Evans has been a strong supporter of the Republican Party and represents good American values in the media. From singing at the 2004 Republican Convention to appearing with candidates in the last several election cycles, we have always been able to count on Sara for her support of the things we all believe in. Lets show Sara that same support by watching and voting for her each week to help her win this competition. One of her opponents on the show is ultra liberal talk show host Jerry Springer. We need to send a message to Hollywood and the media that smut has no place on television by supporting good people like Sara Evans.

I will say when I watched it I found Sara likable enough, but I sure got a kick out of all that came out on her Republican ex-husband.

Perhaps it was the choice of song and costume. Did you think of that?

Carrie, honey. You are a professional musician now. You're not singing in church anymore where they applaud you just for being blond and pretty. You have to bring your A-game.
And Sean Spicer? STFU! You're probably just a shitty dancer.

(1,981 posts)I thought "Christians" weren't supposed to engage in "worldly desires" and set themselves apart as an example of Christ?
Further, I unfortunately had to attend a southern Baptist church and school from 1979 to 1993 where we were told - quite frequently mind you - that dancing is a sin, and essentially nothing more than "sex with your clothes on".
So I ask, what is a "Christian" doing on a dance competition show run by a bunch of heathens to begin with?

(32,628 posts)... and it's not him. Dancing with the Stars is another fake reality show. There's no contest here, it's just a 13 week spectacle. The show runners know from the start who's going to win, and that makes all the other contestants losers, including Sean Spicer.
