WASHINGTON: The Trump administration is releasing almost $400 million worth of military assistance for Ukraine, unplugging the spigot of aid after weeks of speculation that the US might withhold the cash as part of a broad reassessment of American policy in confronting Russian aggression in Ukraine.

In announcing the $250 million package in June, DoD said the money would go toward items such as sniper rifles for Ukraine’s special operations forces, grenade launchers, counter-artillery radar systems, training centers, counter electronic warfare equipment, and items such as sonobuoys to detect Russian ship and submarine traffic to beef up the Ukrainian Navy’s Black Sea presence.

did a counter-hack? We're sitting ducks for anybody who wants to fuck with our elections because Fat Nixon doesn't want to admit that he got Russia's help. He'd be damn sorry if it went the other way. What, indeed, if Putin decides Orange Foolius isn't his BFF any more?

Then, Trump provides detail of the plan, which include Putin's friends financing to construction project that Don the Con expects to profit from, in numerous ways.

6. Putin doesn't need the money

Reports are that he has more than a billion safely secured outside of Russia. He wants power and authority and safety - doesn’t need any more money.

3. True. Putin will have no leverage over a second term Trump

For one thing, Trump will have proven that he is above the law. So no matter what Putin might have on Trump would be useless. So maybe Putin decides to hang Trump out to dry and take his chances with the Democrats, knowing that any Democrat that gets elected will have to spend most of his/her first term repairing the damage Trump has inflicted.

4. I don't see Putin hacking in favor a Democrat, but he might be less inclined to help Trump

if he doesn't think a Trump second term will benefit him. Putin is evil but he's not stupid.
