And this is why the WH released transcripts are so damning of Trump as we are finding out this morning. I suspect the reality is much worse than the transcripts reveal and before this is over, it will be proven that Trump is a Traitor.
Think about it, Schiff probably found out about the Whistleblower from the Whistleblower's Lawyers. He did a little digging in the admin and confirmed. Then Democratic Leadership got the details from the lawyers and planned how this would come out.
Knowing what is already publicly available on this, combined with what the Whistleblower could provide and how Trump would respond allowed them to carefully plan the move to Impeachment.
