He directed phone call transcription under Obama as "Situation Room Director".



Pfeiffer comes on about 25 sec into the clip.

He explained how it works:
1. 3 people listen in and each type out what they're hearing.
2. After the call they get together and fill in each other's gaps.
3. a WH staffer with knowledge of the policy and personnel reviews for accuracy.

THERE ARE NO TAPES. No President wants tapes after Nixon.
