"SNIP.....

“Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged fellow Democratic leaders in a private meeting Wednesday to keep the impeachment investigation narrowly focused on President Trump and his dealings with the president of Ukraine,” the Washington Post reports.

“Pelosi told colleagues that keeping the inquiry narrowly focused on the Ukraine allegations could help keep the investigation out of the courts, where a slew of investigative matters have been bogged down for months — though she did not rule out ultimately including other episodes in a potential impeachment package.”

They need to press as full a list as possible of his many, many criminal acts. Yes, choose carefully. Choose the ones that are easy for people to understand. Don't go off on esoteric stuff.

There is plenty of precedent from Nixon's time. The courts are going to respect the right of the Legislative Branch to carry out their Constitutionally authorized impeachment investigation. Once it is an impeachment, it's not a matter for the Judicial Branch any longer. The rules change and privilege will become non-existent.

If they go for this, then go with all guns blazing. Not a good strategy, so scared of the blowback, which will only come from the people who hate you anyway. Do what is right for the nation.

to fall by the wayside. Maybe the findings of individual committees can be "farmed out" to the appropriate authorities. We still haven't heard anything about money laundering!

The Articles of Impeachment should focus on ….1) Obstruction of Justice charges already delineated in Mueller Report ..2 ) Hush money payments involving Cohen and Stormy Daniels ...and 3 ) The attempt to pressure Ukraine President to investigate Hunter Biden ...The evidence already exists to draft Articles of Impeachment on these 3 key matters …...

Develop seven or ten lines of inquiry, then draft articles of impeachment on the three most promising and provable.
