Hillary Clinton is calling President Donald Trump a “clear and present danger” to the U.S. amid the latest scandal engulfing his administration, and says that her defeat in the 2016 presidential election was like “losing to a corrupt human tornado.”

In an interview with Jane Pauley that will air this weekend on “CBS Sunday Morning,” Clinton gave her assessment of Trump when asked whether it was now harder for a woman to be elected president.

“Well, I hope not, and I don’t think so — because the objective is to field whoever is the strongest candidate to defeat Donald Trump,” she said in an excerpt released on Thursday. “Because Donald Trump right now poses a direct threat, a clear and present danger to the institutions of our government, to the rule of law, to our standing in the world.”

I salute you, admire you and thank you.

IT is a threat to national security, a putin sycophant.

2. She has every right whatsoever and every possible justification to say so and feel so.

That said, I wish she'd say what she wishes and then let the process play out. We need Republican Senators to come over to the hard facts and not let their past partisan feelings toward either Clinton to be their focus.

This is no slam on her. She is and will be absolutely validated by history. But, we need to give space for what little "Sense of Ethics & DUTY" might remain a factor for Republican Senators sans distractions.

3. +1 100% behind her, but this is Pelosi's job now. Let her be the focus.

It would be a good time to just say what you have to say to those around her, in private.

The less distraction the more we can keep the general public focused on the crimes at-hand.

Hillary Clinton dismissed President Trump as an “illegitimate president” and suggested that “he knows” that he stole the 2016 presidential election in a CBS News interview to be aired Sunday.

The former secretary of state, who lost the presidency to Trump, offered a scathing assessment of the president, his 2016 win and the latest allegations that he tried to obtain incriminating information from a foreign government about Joe Biden, a possible 2020 opponent, according to excerpts released by CBS from a wide-ranging pretaped interview for its “Sunday Morning” show,

Clinton was asked whether it angers her that none of the current Democratic candidates invoke her on the campaign trail while Trump’s rally crowds still break out into “lock her up” chants.

“No, it doesn’t kill me because he knows he’s an illegitimate president,” she said. “I believe he understands that the many varying tactics they used, from voter suppression and voter purging to hacking to the false stories — he knows that — there were just a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out like it did.”
