Like Nixon: The Republicans best option may become Trumps resignation.

When the Nixon tapes came out the Republicans knew the jig was up. Republicans went to the White house and told him he must resign. They did not want to vote to convict or not to convict.

This Ukraine investigation has just started and the evidence is already overwhelming. It is going to get a lot worse. People around Trump are being dragged into this. They are in legal jeopardy. More crimes may be found and committed. People may start turning on each other to save their own asses.

There are Republicans in the Senate who do not want to vote yes or no. Either way would be politically damaging. Moscow Mitch in the end will do whats best for the Republicans to hold control of the Senate.

I am not saying this is going to happen. I'm saying resignation may become the best option for the Republicans and for Trump.

Whatever it takes to move him out and remove him before he destroys the country.

Don't forget Trump threatening The Sampson Solution is not out of the realm of probabilities
in order to protect himself and his family.

no loyalty to the US. It's a get what you can while "Rome burns" mentality.

These greedy bastards will not call for his resignation. It would be an admission of their own maleficence.

It is the profit motive. You are correct, no loyalty amoung thieves. Rats eating their own is a just fate.

Richard Nixon had a vestige of a conscience. Trump never had one, or it was ground out of him in maybe his twenties.

Yes, it's a good option for the GOP, but they will have to drag Trump out of the White House kicking and screaming. It would make for some great theatre!

If that number goes up, it may happen. GOP will unload him to save their party and themselves.

We really don't know what to expect.
