Trump acts the way he does because he doesn't know any different. He's gotten away with this shit and worse all his life. His father was a criminal and so was his grandfather. Three generations of sociopaths.
What Flake said is that these Senators DO know better, but are only willing to act in secret. That makes them worse than cowards, it makes them complicit in Trump's crimes and traitors to the their oaths of office and the country. Each and every one of them should be expelled from the Senate on ethics violations.
