I don't know their schedules, but I read that the senate started their two-week recess tonight. I imagine most of the house will do the same. Which makes the timing of the additions even more surprising.

Seems there's a concerted effort to bring more members onboard.

That was my thought as well after reading the whistleblower transcript. How can a lawyer even think about performing illegal actions?

on his life. They should be pouring almost immediately for so many reasons, and if the NY courts have all the information and are ready to indict and take him, and his family, to trial he should end up in jail, where they all belong.

I hope in jail he realizes what a big mistake it was to run for the presidency.

It would be so nice to see him testify. Just imagine the visuals as he would try to “explain” his actions. I think we need to see him sweat and squirm, it would be kinda healing he’s done it to us for three years.

There are only 3 left who are in safe seats: Gabbard (SMDH), Kind (he won by almost 20 points in 2018), and Johnson (and she may have have said she supports, it is still unclear)

all the rest are in really shaky or outright Red districts

not changed to support, Johnson (there is some debate if she has or has not), as those 3 are in solid Blue seats. The one I really feel for (even though he is a true DINO, basically centre right) is Collin Peterson, as his district is ruby Red MAGATS (Trump won by 31 points, it is the 2nd most pro-Trump district in the US that we won in 2018, after McAdams in UT-4), and he is the best we can hope for there I think, even if many of his views are repugnant (anti-choice, anti-LGBTQ, A rating from the NRA, anti-immigrant, etc). He is basically the Manchin of the House, but I do not want to lose him unless we can unfuck that district to a neutral or Blue one via reversing the RW massive bias. A centre left liberal to hard left prog candidate would get hammered in his district as it stands, they really are rabid MAGATS (Clinton barely won 31% of the votes.)

I would say that Rose's district MIGHT be able to won by a less conservative Democratic nominee. Rose is a member of the two worst Caucuses that a Dem can belong to (No Labels/Problem Solvers Caucus, and the For Country Caucus, plus the less problematic Blue Dog and New Democrat Coalitions), so he is rare member of all 4 conservadem caucuses. Both Problems Solvers (infamous for trying to scupper Pelosi for Speaker, and successfully smearing Marie Newman (who was endorsed by most all major Dem Groups, including EMILY's LIST, a super rare loss for them) when she barely lost against the Peterson-like Lipinski (same beliefs, except that seat is solid solid Blue) with pure attack mailings, including some calling her a Holocaust Denier (those were sent, but the jury is out on if No Labels had anything to do with it, only thing for sure it was deffo from Lipinski's campaign) and the For Country Caucus are bi-partisan (ie have Rethug members), both have partial but substantial RW backing and they will support Rethugs over Dems in primaries via affiliated PACS. For Country's affiliated PAC is supporting the Rethug challenger over our wonderful freshwoman, Katie Hill in CA-25. SMDH

She has 2 twitter accounts, her "Congressional" one and a personal one and being on the Judiciary Committee, she has indicated her support for impeachment, so am not sure about why they keep indicating some kind of equivocating. Here was her tweet from her personal account (which was also for fundraising) -

I checked some of the others on the list like Conor Lamb - and they initially had statements that basically insisted that nothing should be withheld from Congress and if it was, look out. And now Lamb came out with this late yesterday (he tweeted a link to an article with his local paper) -

I've met him, and he's genial, but hesitates on the tough votes.

Time for a sternly worded letter. I have a friend who primaried him a couple of years back, but Kind is well established and is still a Democrat.

This is a duh vote, no reason not to get on board in this safe district. He needs a little heat on this one.

Red ones. Johnson will probably soon be pulled off, as I am seeing conflicting things, but it makes ZERO sense for her, as a fellow woman of colour, in a deep blue district, to not go for the jugular on that white nationalist, treasonous fuck, and all-round con criminal scum Rump.
