Odd coincidence, isn't it, that firing a lifelong inside player with a reputation for fighting dirty is followed by a devastating series of bureaucratic setbacks?

Although it wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that Bolton was a "second source" or something.
These people in the White House are a pit full of snakes.

(61,805 posts)Bolton was only the latest casualty in the Trump administration's push to eliminate any buffer that protects Trump from following his worst instincts. Trump is devoid of principles and his enablers paved the way for him to do something criminally stupid and self-destructive.

The Bush family still has an axe to grind. They are just Biding their time.
