Hm. Trump fires John Bolton and suddenly his administration falls apart

Odd coincidence, isn't it, that firing a lifelong inside player with a reputation for fighting dirty is followed by a devastating series of bureaucratic setbacks?

and his top aide resigned / were fired... that's when the wheels started coming off the bus.

Although it wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that Bolton was a "second source" or something.

These people in the White House are a pit full of snakes.

Bolton was only the latest casualty in the Trump administration's push to eliminate any buffer that protects Trump from following his worst instincts. Trump is devoid of principles and his enablers paved the way for him to do something criminally stupid and self-destructive.

So it surprised me when he agreed to work for Trump. But someone like him is not going to walk away quietly.

The Bush family still has an axe to grind. They are just Biding their time.

I always assumed he was with various Never Trumpers like Bill Kristol, Bushes, and other such people.

It would not surprise me in the least if he is behind some of this.
