Just a sample (note the undercurrent of violence in some of them!)
The Global Swamp Creatures are all over the place working hard to destroy Trump in hope's of starting a Civil War! The leader is George Soros along with Hussein Obama, SocialistCrats, the Rothchilds, etc., etc., etc.
[snip]
Today, its a socialist globalist big government control of our country vs a nationalist republic based on liberty and free enterprise. and yes this is a civil war and the hope is it remains relatively blood free but the effort by the left to disarm and tax the population into submission is akin to another big gun fired into FT Sumter.
[snip]
... there is a civil war and we are in the middle of it.. just hasn't been any gun battles... at this point
[snip]
I firmly believe from the bottom of my heart, that Trump is going to give 150% in this job as POTUS. His heart and soul will be in it all the way, his intentions are in the right place and he has surrounded himself with intelligent people.
Kind of incredible.

The left can do this too tbh. We've fallen down rabbit holes as well - believing in Fitzmas, Mueller, outstanding Intl warrants for Cheney etc but honestly, never to the degree that the right has.

(146,254 posts)Nothing new there. Right-wingers have been posting crap like that for years. We're familiar with it, having seen it again and again. It's not a regular topic of conversation here, though, since there's no point in repeating such garbage.
It is, however, normal here to link to things you post.

(43,049 posts)Remember all that bullshit from the '60s? We even had our own bombers. Ours were nice, though-- blew up empty buildings so no one would get hurt but the rats. Still not nice to blow stuff up, and the points they tried to make were never really made.
Then the bomb factory on Park Row blew up and that was that. There are still a few around, though, although they are far overshadowed by school shooters and serious bombers who want to kill more than make a point.
Fortunately, most of them on both sides are too busy scarfing down the Twinkies and typing with one hand to actually go out and lead their revolutions.
It only takes one murderous asshole, though...

I'd love to hang onto them, but I have an unexpected cash flow problem so I've got to bite the bullet and give up an asset on fairly short notice, and this is the one that can do the job.
Seems like this fella is just the sort of sharp go-getter who can take advantage of this opportunity.

(54,277 posts)EXCERPTS FROM THE OFFICIAL DICTIONARY OF REPUBLICANESE
In Republicanese, many words that sound alike may be spelled differently at random. A few prominent examples:
In Republicanese, the following words may be spelled at random using any of the three ways given:
A.) Two, Too, To
B.) Their, They're, There
c.) Your, Yore, You're
The Republicanese version of Robin Hood therefore starts with "In days of you're...."
The only rule is that the correct use of them as in English is never permitted twice in a row.
Words with single letters that change meaning when a letter is doubled must never be used in correct English context. The classic example is lose vs. loose. In Republicanese, if you do not win an election, then you loose that election. Conversely, if your (Republicanese: youre) belt is too tight, you need it more lose in order to be comfortable. Another example would be the Republicanese, I met Donald Trump, and he was rudder than I imagined, vs. I grabbed the ruder and was able to steer the boat to shore.
In Republicanese, an apostrophe is used to form a plural, but it must be done at random, never systematically. For example, Bill and Hillary are "the Clinton's," but Bill, Chelsea and Hillary are "the Clintons." The other way around is also correct. In Republicanese, either form is correct as long as it is not spelled the same way twice in a row.

(8,558 posts)In this one your humor is directed at Trumpublicans, who seem to be unable to comprehend words and phrases, spell them, or use correct punctuation. In the other, it was directed at those who were from a certain region and had a certain dialect, and were Trumpublicans who seemed to be unable to comprehend words and phrases, spell them, or use correct punctuation.
Trumpublicans are everywhere. As are democrats. So ncluding region and dialect as part of what you were making fun of isn't necessary for it to be funny, and can be divisive, and that is true for ANY region or dialect.
And you can call it region and dialect, but let's be real in our terminology and call it what it really is in everyday terms. I'll say it: We don't make fun of people's accents or where they're from, and we don't connect those factors to their ignorance, or at least we shouldn't. We're Democrats, and we're supposed to be better than that. We have plenty of ammo without it, and we don't need to stoop to that level.
That's just my opinion. YMMV.

(864 posts)There are, however, some conservative websites that dislike Trump and, aside from the usual conservative twists, make ineresting reading. The following is one I tip-toe into from time to time and then slink out.
The American Conservative
Here is an article discussing impeachment and the WH that is up currently:
THE SWAMP IN THE WHITE HOUSE By Rod Dreher September 28, 2019,
[snip]
I dont know if impeachment is the answer. Im disinclined to think so, but I certainly dont rule it out. Theres more than enough to justify an investigation. I am at a conference in Massachusetts today, and last night after dinner, I spent an hour or two reading the days impeachment news. Its exhausting, and I am extremely discouraged that this is what were going to have to deal with every day for the next year, until the election.
Heres the thing: the main reason we are having to do this is because Donald Trump is reckless to a shocking degree. One day after the Mueller Report failed to take him down, he gets on the phone with the Ukraine president and pops off like this. How hard is it to restrain yourself? I resent the hell out of Donald Trump for putting so many conservatives, especially Republican lawmakers, in the position of having to defend him over stupid, easily preventable missteps.
I am, btw, a liberal of the moderate to left variety from my McGovern days to supporting Gen. Wesley Clark to my current support for Biden.

Newest Reality
(12,712 posts)of the people at the rallies?
It looks like many of them would be risking a fatal heart attack by walking too fast. Keyboard warriors abound and they can talk as tough and crazy as they want online without having to put up or shut up. So, I don't pay them any heed when it comes to making threats against our country in that sense.
It is more the vile and toxic garbage they can spew that is concerning because it tells me about THEM. Projection is the rule. They appear to be very troubled and confused. That's a concern. It really boils down to malignant and deceptive rhetoric. People who buy into something that emotionally have their own agenda and, from the likes of them, I don't even imagine them doing anything other than chaotic things. How could they even join together and agree in any kind of actual, physical confrontation they imply?
As for the one's who actually might actually be armed and able to do battle, they are a smaller number and actually rather clueless about just how that would turn out, IMHO. If they are, then any plans or strategy they might have, (white supremacists, etc.) is not that threatening. The musket mentality is an indication of not having a clue. All they can do is become the terrorists they seem to be worried about. That's means they can make problems, upset things and do some harm and damage to innocent people, and that's the only real threat they present.
The rest are just making grunts and moans in a cacophony of ignorance that is actually pathetic if push ever comes to shove.
I have said too much, but that's what I have assessed over the years. We are battling more in the political noosphere than in meat space for now and they are a minority that will only shrink with time as their chronic diseases and aging take them out.

Firstly, Trump has spent over one third of his time as president at his golf courses. If you think he's there to work you have another think coming. Trump has no heart and no soul. Trump's world revolves around himself: Always! As far as Trump surrounding himself with "intelligent people", well......if they were intelligent they wouldn't get within 100 miles of the Trump White House. He's had a higher number of turnovers than George Bush and Barack Obama in their 4 terms in office combined, and Trump isn't even through one term (and hopefully he won't finish that term).
So yeah, these people live in a separate reality where facts and truth can gain no purchase.
