2. Moore was one of the very few on our side to predict Trump's win

We need to hear what he has to say even if we don't like it.

3. Don't push Moore's BS on me. He also said Romeny and McCain would win, and a vote for Gore

was a vote for bush

Ashley Judd shut him very quickly at the women's march, when the jerk started to dis the Democratic party

He made a few good films, and now is trying to look for relevance again

So please don't feed me the nonesense about his predictive abilities. It is about as good as a flip of a coin

To have you be so dismissive of an Oscar winning film maker, who has in my opinion been way more relevant than to be a “jerk who has made a few good films.”
He and his opinions will always remain relevant to me, his record speaks for itself, and your callous post speaks against you.

It's rather difficult to take comments like that seriously, particularly from someone who is supposed on "our" side.

Like most people, Moore has pros and cons. Being an award-winning filmmaker doesn't preclude someone from occasionally making ridiculous remarks. Some of Moore's comments about the 2016 election and subsequent developments have qualified as ridiculous.

You can't get much more clueless than that. Oh and MM might take his own orders.. "..from now on.. "

2000 Nader support, kind of speaks against you perhaps

What happened in 2000 was the beginning of the what we are going through now, starting with the Supreme Court

His, "there is no difference between republicans and Democrats", says a lot about Moore to me

So clueless and mean spirited

And, what's up with this?

for listening to anything that doesn't suit their agenda. I cannot believe, for example, how many people trash CNN because they have the "audacity" to occasionally have right-wing viewpoints on the air. Yeah, sometimes it's utter B.S. being spewed but there's occasionally points to ponder or something that makes one consider whether some sort of middle ground could be identified on particular issues.

It's unhealthy to live in an echo chamber.

to be able to listen to a message and comb through it taking some bits that are helpful and thoughtful and rejecting what we consider dross but never discarding something without at least considering it.

Someone back in the day, maybe Oliver Cromwell, said to someone else something like, "In the name of God, consider that you might be wrong." If we could all imagine that we might possibly need to rethink something things might tend to improve.

Condemning someone FOREVER who has offended us with a mistaken notion seems pretty self-centered. Although, I could be wrong.

My initial perceptions are frequently wrong. I work with many groups of people that have various life challenges. To judge them up front is to mis-judge.

And these judgements can and should be changed as situations change.

Only the rigid demagogues and idiots stay true to whatever they believe in.

Learn and grow.

Stagnate and die.

14. What's impressive about Moore's prediction is that it specified exactly how trump would win.

He noted that Mich., Ohio, Wis., and Penn. have 64 electoral votes, the exact number that Romney lost by. And he said trump's populist, anti-government establishment persona would win those rust belt states. He obviously understood the mood of the electorate a lot better than did HRC and the DNC.
