Toward the bottom of page three of the whistle-blower's complaint he or she writes:
"In the days following the phone call, I learned from multiple U.S. officials that senior White House officials had intervened to lock down all records of the phone call, especially the official word-for-word transcript of the call that was producedas is customaryby the White House Situation Room."

This transcript is different than the shorter abbreviated series of notes of the call, sometimes referred to as memos, that we were given. This is now, of course "locked down" in the computer files reserved to classified security documents.
Since we have the shortened version, can't we force the WH to turn over the full version, one that likely refers to Trump's favor 8 times and could be more explicit in about Trump's quid pro quo?

(54,770 posts)is damning enough. If the "full" transcript doesn't add anything, it could detract from the impeachment inertia we have right now.
I'm fine with asking for it, but I wouldn't make a big announcement, threaten to file subpoenas, write strongly worded letters, make it the topic of talk shows for a month, etc. All of that takes time. Plus, if trump doesn't supply it, that's further evidence of obstruction.
Worst case, we are where we are now...best case, it's much better.
Seems to me there's no downside.
