Speaking at the welcome ceremony for his new Joint Chiefs chairman, Trump just boasted of the time he, "believe it or not," got "a big award from the Marines." The award was from the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation, a charitable organization, not the Marines itself.

According to @Fahrenthold reporting in 2016, Trump had previously given the foundation that gave him the award $230,000 from his own foundation, which was largely funded by others' money. The award-giving foundation was chaired by Jim Kallstrom, a Trump ally in the election.

I swear if I have to go stand in front of my Mars-based homeschool class and teach them that the second American Civil War began on something called Twitter which historians are describing as "a mistake," I am going to be so mad ...
... Jeffress (the Gavrilo Princip of this new figurative conflict) was predicting a "Civil War like fracture" and not explicitly a civil war but I'm not really sure what that means ...
Why is it that certain people always jump right to threats of civil war like we've all been training at CrossFit to fight, Jonas brother against Jonas brother, in a battle for the future of the nation? Confidential between you, me, and the lines of people of all stripes waiting to get the Popeye's Chicken Sandwich: this is not the case.
... a war? In this economy? ...
