Lots of Republican Civil Servants, (Trump's Transition Members ex-staff members) all coming out to splatter Trump...
In My Opinion right now? I think we have reached the top and now it's all down hill. Especially the fact that Trump publicly feels that he has a right to meet the Whistle-Blower..
I watch a lot of News: Too Much: But for me, Today is the beginning of the end of our National Nightmare... REALLY!!!!! Turn on CNN.. They will replay a lot of stuff throughout the day... And believe me .....I have not been a great fan of CNN..

McConnell said he would have no choice if the House impeaches Trump. It was the Law, he has to bring it to the floor.
A Professor said Trump has become incapacitated. He can not concentrate on conversations . Te Staff must have insisted he make that short speech to show-he is fine, but he isnt.
Yes, CNN is hitting n all fours after Tapper took Jordon down yesterday, reminding him of his accusations.

Here's what needs to happen too though, no one is going to save America from Trump(or Pence) but the voters. He may be going down, but each citizen should be called to action. It's time to get involved, contact your local Democratic Party and get started. They can help you make a difference yourself.

(10,823 posts)We're in Tennessee, aka Trumplandia. The phone call was polling people if they thought Trump deserved reelection and if the country was going in the right direction.
My husband enjoyed shouting a double NO! to both questions and then hung up.
Republicans are getting antsy, a good thing.

(13,020 posts)the Ukraine situation at all. Rather they tried to deflect. It was embarrassing. Question is what Dumpster/Russians have on them for them to sell their souls and principles, and debase themselves like this for him.

(1,812 posts)Russiagate Obstruction was strike 1 , Ukraine strike 2 ..It will take one more major scandal , strike 3, to bring down the Trump Presidency ...Hopefully this future scandal will be discovered in the server hidden away by Trump stooges in the WH . Or perhaps another very credible whistleblower will emerge to save the day- and the country ...

(11,241 posts)I think it would have to be a whistleblower. In fact .. I don't see any way in hell that the information on the server comes to light, unless it is "leaked" .. and that is very likely a criminal offense, where someone could end up in jail for a good bit.

(50,528 posts)Whether it will be or not is another question, but Trump's attempts to start a civil war should be enough to get the bastard impeached.
If our White House staff, Cabinet and Congress contained any Republican patriots, they'd simply start the 25th Amendment process going. But there are nothing but scoundrels there, so we're stuck.

(67,782 posts)Some of the people speaking up today are surprising. It confirms some of what I've been saying for a year or two - when it comes down to the country and illegal activity, even most republicans will say and do the right thing.
I've taken flak for that, but I think it'll prove out to be correct.

(13,776 posts)They can't possibly enjoy having to defend this moron all the time, but their base demands it, so they do.
They'd be thrilled to have an excuse to bail on him and reassemble behind some other leader. Whether that's Pence or a player to be named later will depend on the impeachment process.

And to those who try to tell me I can still sign in on my computer and watch, I still need to have a cable provider to do so. And I don't have a cable provider. Just the plain vanilla internet.
Oh, well. When something really big happens (earthquake, tornado, assassination attempt) local TV stations go to streaming live coverage, which is often far better than the network version.
I'm guessing the TV stations in the DC area will go to live streaming if something significant enough occurs.

(10,089 posts)I'd largely given up on CNN but have been checking them out on the internet some lately. The trouble is too many people only watch FOX. They are a polished propaganda machine that would do Goebells proud but maybe they are slipping.
