Anyone else getting labeled as a "Vagina-Voter" for supporting HRC?

Was this a Russian troll thing in 2016 and I am just hearing about it now?

GOP strategy?

The attacks are pretty nasty and venomous, like they’re spitting hatred, so I’m wondering if this has become a common line of attack for Russian troll world.

I thought I heard it all by now.

I think it's more juvenile in an attempt to hurt or minimize women....a male with inferiority complex tend to go to this level..

Yea, I have a vagina ...and I vote...end of the story.

Also a Bernie bro even though I'm a 66-year-old woman. But Gloria Steinem made Bernie an honorary woman in 1996, so I believe that I have been falsely accused of sexism.

I try to discern if this style of attack is a deliberate strategy from Russia troll farms or the American incel types. I imagine some are just lazyminded follower types.

Most of us are women. It has always been that way. Even when we work and are wives and mothers, most of the activists I know are women.

I think that term may have originated on the internet, promoted by supporters of one particular candidate. Those supporters are known for their nastiness. That is where I encountered it first.

I laugh at the term. I laugh at them.

And I have a few right-wingers on my FB feed. I have noticed an increase in Clinton bashing, ridiculous memes with false information. So they must be dragging her up in right-wing circles because they can't defend Trump's actions.

Since I consider women equal and powerful in their own right, I refuse to accept being called either a vagina or a pussy as a slander but as a compliment. I can only wish to be as logical, strong, independent, and compassionate as most women that I know.

This site was heavily trolled for a while back then.

Some pretty bad posts survived juries while some which were innocuous but positive about Hillary did not.

What a stupid thing to say. What an obscene thing to say. I don't care if it is meant to be symbolic, it is sexist and insulting to all women, no matter who they support!

No one else votes with their vagina, either. We use our hands, no matter what type of voting system is employed in our precincts.

I don't know where, maybe here. I took in to mean someone who would vote for a candidate because she is a woman. When I saw it it was being used pejoratively, but I didn't take it that way. I don't vote for somebody because they are women, but if that's your jam, go for it. We can agree to disagree on whether it's a good idea. It's silly and juvenile to call names like that, but let's face it, the norm nowadays.

I’m surprised you missed that. Susan Sarandon joined in saying “I don’t vote with my vagina” back when she was more politically visible.
