Her timing is fab. Funny, I've seen several men giving her on-air advice on how to proceed forward. Now, these same men were after her for the last several months to impeach and impeach immediately. If she had, we wouldn't have this moment when impeachment has a very good chance at succeeding.

(42,770 posts)All of our nominees, 73% of our Party, a majority of the Dems in the House, 10 plus million who signed moveon petition, countless respected liberal voices, plus anyone here who has been for holding him accountable since day 1 ? If so, glad to be on that side !!
Just thankful everyone finally got on board!

(25,932 posts)I didn't want House leadership to send something half-baked that was doomed to failure. I trust Nancy Pelosi in her judgment to wait until something iron-clad came along.

I do remember thinking though, how can one actually say, "I am waiting for him to do something worse?". You couldn't PR that.
Yet I wonder if what would have happened if everyone DID treat what he had done already as the worst. That is what always seemed missing. The utter outrage and declaration that the Mueller crimes were impeachable offenses.

(35,454 posts)I think Nancy, from long experience, knew sooner or later he would do himself in...how many of us thought something similiar...when would the snow on the roof become too heavy if you get what I mean.
You think differently...it doesn't really matter as long as he goes.
I just think it's the whistle blower(s) who are "fab", and I hope they keep coming

(42,862 posts)Nancy Pelosi still hasn't received an apology from a certain Democratic lawmaker who has said some very insulting things about her. Something like that can't be excused by blaming it on "youth" or "inexperience" or "impatient frustration"... I blame it on a lack of respect and decency and an unwillingness to give credit where it's due.
All I'm saying is... the attacks, insults and smears on Nancy Pelosi were so unfair and so unnecessary... it only served to create resentment which leads to division and distrust. And things like that weaken our party. I do not understand why anyone would do or say things that weaken Democrats... because that (obviously) benefits Trump, the GOP, and Russia.
