CNN reporting that some of MF45's aides are placating him, trying to calm him down.

Guess how?

By telling him that Nancy Pelosi is only humoring Democrats and won't actually hold an impeachment vote.

I have no idea how CNN got this information but if true, they're lying to him.

Bananas!

I would guess this is what happened when he was growing up and he never had to face consequences...that's why he is what he is today.

Someone needs to be truthful with him and let him grow up...late, but necessary. Why should the rest of us suffer because he isn't able to handle the products of his poor judgment and crimes?

Two choices with Trump:
Work for him and buy into his twisted world.
Recognise the insanity and get some distance from him.

There is no in-between approach possible.

Imagine how relieved they must feel now that they are out of this circus. They could be searching for an attorney and facing serious consequences. No job pays enough to work for an ogre like him and bend to his demands.

Being truthful has its benefits. Too bad Trump hasn't learned that yet.

Convicted by the Senate? Probably not, but the Senators will get their digs in as well, before ultimately deferring their duties to the voters.

You have to tiptoe, hedge, hide, lie ... yet reality moves against them and they don't know it. You'll do anything to avoid the in-the-moment consequences, the anger and tirades, threats and fulminations. You wait for them to tire themselves out. Is it they who can't handle reality, or is it you?

Maybe he is not so sure there won't be so much evidence that he loses the support of enough Senate Republicans to matter?

Up until now, my thought was that the only reason he was upset about the House investigations wasn't out of concern for actually being removed from office, but because he didn't want embarrassing info to come out (from all the subpoenas and testimony). The actual vote is irrelevant to that.
