I clicked through on the tweet and read through the first 25 or so responses. Running about 4-1 in nitwit ecstasy about Trump as president for life, and a handful of responses along the lines of "LOL fuck you no."

Have they confused a Vice President who has to assume the Presidency due to unfortunate circumstances having the opportunity to be elected then re-elected on his own? Just trying to see a link to something in the realm of reality, probably a lost cause.

My copy has the following. Perhaps his copy is missing the relevant text (or it has been crossed out with a Sharpie).

The House of Representatives shall choose their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.
— Article I, Section 2, Clause 5



The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments. When sitting for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two-thirds of the Members present.

Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States; but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law.
—Article I, Section 3, Clauses 6 and 7
