Maher's type is always with us. People today need to be just as aware of what they are as they are of snakes. Same as 5000 years ago.

Bill Maher has conservatives on his show all the time, and he engages with them. Although he may agree with some talking points, for the most part he is diametrically opposed to most right-wing opinions. I think you are just mad because his show is not a complete love fest for liberals. Bill Maher haters seem to be gluttons for punishment. Otherwise they wouldn't even watch the damn show.

On that rare occasion when someone demands that I change my opinion, and agree with them, my usual reaction is to simply remove myself from an unpleasant situation, but occasionally, I run across a situation that begs a different and more apt reaction. Something like, let me see. Well, like a very subtle.....

that's always my comment on the I hate Bill Maher threads. even people with no tv's come here to complain about him. I never miss a show.
Arguing for tax-payers to cover the cost of trans surgery for prisoners is going to be a real winning issue for us in 2020
