When Milley was asked about those comments today, he claimed he didn’t know where Trump got that story. “I know the President had planned to talk down to the unit and unit members, but I don’t know what the source of that was,” said the general. “But I assume it was talking directly to unit members.”

The Pentagon leader was then asked if he had heard the details in that way. “I have not talked to unit members, no, that’s correct,” he replied. “I’ve talked to the commanders and CENTCOM, but not down to the members.”

The White House has yet to respond to the comments from the Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair General.

Let's face most people don't leave this world smiling and laughing or in a blaze of glory. Wasn't bin Laden on dialysis and spent his days watching porn. (bin Laden sounded like a Howard Hughes at the end) So, there was probably some bit of truth to this, even though Trump probably didn't know the details.
