Are they Republicans in Dem clothing? Are they normally reliable Dems who are trying to hold on to red districts? Do any of you have any info?

(868 posts)You all just have to chastise Democrat's for not voting without understanding
why some of them have no choice?
How mature! Like two votes scuttled the House vote. These Democrats might
have kept these seats in Red Districts but oh no.... they should have cut their own throats
just to please you....
Grow up!

(23,003 posts)If so, they aren't real Dems. Dems should vote against the constitution just to win? That sounds very repug like to me.

(13,749 posts)... happen to know this information? AND what's wrong with suggesting that everyone should want to know this before passing judgment?

(868 posts)But just what you heard.
That being said, measuring everything by one means of measurement creates its own problems.
Additionally, tell me what a "real Democrat" is. And just who are you to determine how or what
someone else thinks.
What you makes you so sure you're a democrat? Could you be wrong?
I know I could be wrong, because I have been witness the errors of my ways.

(22,147 posts)Most of the state seats in the district are held by Republicans. He votes with the Dems in the House about 75 percent of the time, and is currently chair of the Ag committee. His vote is unsurprising, and he'll be reelected as long as he wants the seat (for as long as it exists -- in in danger in the next census).
