they would just focus on one thing and get this bastard out. tRump is a thug and has done numerous illegal acts, let's get with it, with the public hearings. Some Americans do not really have long attention span for these things. Strike while the iron is hot!!!

and may be thinking that Senate GOPers might be swayed by an overwhelming case that Trumpy committed many documented crimes and WILL CONTINUE to commit crimes if he's acquitted. Senate GOPers will have to understand that it is THEY who will be responsible for Trumpy's continued crimes if they vote for acquittal.

I'm not sure anything would get 20 Republican Senators and Manchin to convict. But they've already made up their minds with regard to the Trump-Zelensky story. They will continue to lie, obfuscate and claim there's no justification for impeachment much less removal, while a few will express mild "concern."

Trump's deputy assistant was on NPR this morning claiming that Trump's reference to Biden had to do with 2016 and Ukraine's handling of corruption. Trump didn't use the words "my 2020 political rival," therefore he's innocent. It's madness, but there you have it.

He is a criminal in so many ways and we'd be doing a disservice to future generations to low ball the complaint and not include any of his many other crimes - witness tampering, many many charges of obstruction of justice, criminal bribery, acting against America's best interests and in the interest of a hostile foreign country, campaign finance violations, many emoluments violations.

I look forward to seeing what is included and hope it is enough to help protect us from things like this in the future.

All of his criminal activities need to be shown to the general public that the Rparty will really have no choice but to vote to convict and remove this stain upon the world.

even though it is bad enough. His financial crimes are probably more critical and we don't even know about many of them, I'm sure. Particularly, money he has received from foreign countries/entities. Obstruction alone would be another.

Pelosi on Friday emphasized that the decision on articles of impeachment will be up to the committees handling the inquiry. She did not rule out the possibility that the obstruction of justice allegations against Trump in Mueller's report could come up.

"What we're talking about now is taking us into a whole other class of objection to what the president has done. And there may be other — there were 11 obstruction of justice provisions in the Mueller report. Perhaps some of them will be part of this," Pelosi said during an interview with Bloomberg Television. "But again, that will be part of the inquiry, to see where we go."

“Get it” if it’s laid out clearly. Mueller was unwilling to buck the DOJ guidelines and was obstructed from getting some conspiracy evidence, but congress could get it.

Simple to persuade voters. But I am afraid if the focus is exclusively on Ukraine it will be too easy for the GOP to convince the rubes that even if Trump is guilty is hell, this simply isn’t a matter to get upset about. There need to be several distinct issues.

a huge mistake to include only the one (Ukraine) article. I would add obstruction, emoluments and, if the evidence can be compiled in time, money laundering.

Only a single "guilty" article is necessary for ouster so give the Repugs something to vote "No" on to placate the base a little.

Stars on the eve of the 2016 election, then repeatedly lying to the American public about it. Bring the Catch & Kill guy from the Enquirer in to testify under oath.

It’s what the courts call a crime of moral turpitude.

Make those lap dogs in the Senate support Trump on that.
