The attorney general is focusing on the theory, aired on far-right conspiracy sites, and raised by Trump and Giuliani, that Ukraine framed Vladimir Putin over the US election in a complex triple-cross operation by impersonating Russian hackers.

Trump and Barr have also been asking other foreign governments for help in investigating the FBI, CIA and Mueller investigators. The US president has called on the Australian prime minister Scott Morrison for assistance, while the attorney general has been on similar missions to the UK and Italy.

And the information being requested has left allies astonished. One British official with knowledge of Barr’s wish list presented to London commented that “it is like nothing we have come across before, they are basically asking, in quite robust terms, for help in doing a hatchet job on their own intelligence services”.

The UK, in particular, has been viewed by Trump followers, especially far-right conspiracy theorists, as a deep source of woes for the president.

Wow, this is the first time I've read a synopsis of Pumpkin Spice Pol Pot's working theory on the Mueller investigation articulated... And, it is at once the most ridiculously absurd and monstrously demented piece of pulp fiction I've ever encountered.

It's going to take me a few minutes to process this jaundiced gordian knot-mare... And, regain my composure.

Ahem, Well... I suppose a paraphrasing of the theory would be the Democrats with aid from the chemtrail splattering Deep State, wickedly used latex Putin mask wearing Ukrainian hackers to throw the election to Trump so that they could ultimately impeach King Shit Midas and make Putin look bad. While simultaneously keeping HRC out of the US Presidency. So, in essence the Democrats lose to win?

My first impressions are... Why? What's the fricking motive? HRC was quite a bit ahead in the polls and without interference would have probably been elected President. Directly allowing for the implementation of the so-called Deep State's Machiavellian plans. So, why go the extra mile by installing Old Yeller and possibly sitting through several years of his disastrous dictatorship only to make everyone suffer seeing the Tangeranus' puckered mug every day? Really?

If that's really their crazy assed theory... That Trump was only installed to be impeached. I'd be looking closely, very closely, at Pence. In their scenario he's the only one who could possibly benefit.

Oh, well... Barking mad is as barking mad does.

I'll leave crazy conspiracy land with this, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, baby.

It once looked like a long shot that both Trump and Pence would be impeached, but with this latest news being so grave that scenario is now up in the air. Pence is likely in the soup up to his neck with the rest of them - at the very least, he knew and said nothing. Leaving him in place would be too dangerous.
