Trump wants someone from NY State to be his VP. President and VP cannot be from the same state.
(Remember how Cheney had to hustle back to a Wyoming home, from TX, in 2000?)

It sounds insane but it gains him a poison pill and a true partner in crime for his vp.

Equally as bad a thought is what if it is BARR he wants as his vp? Although I really don't know where Barr claims as home these days, hell he is never even in the US most days.

It's not that the President and VP can't be from the same state, it's that they can't win that states' electoral votes. If they're writing off NY anyways then it doesn't really matter.

So from this point onward there would be no state taxes to compare with his Federal taxes, which is currently set to cause him problems in New York State.
