1. They are lifetime
So he can’t do anything. That is the reason they get lifetime terms. They need to follow the law and not base any decision on what they personally want.

2. Trump is operating like a mobster
If he can't buy them off, they will get an offer that they can't refuse.

7. Sort of like Kennedy got - leave the SCOTUS or else
Not sure what the "or else" clause is, but maybe something like:
I expose your financial transactions and 'some' of your son's money laundering. (Can't expose all since they involve dump.) |

3. He takes money away
There is zero doubt to me that he has arranged for family members to have cushy jobs that pay them big money to do nothing, he controls them with these back room deals.

5. I doubt Gorsuch ever will
He is an ideologue. He would say the Constitution allows shooting people in broad daylight on 5th Avenue if the perp's family name starts with a T.
Beer Boy is another story. He is sensitive to criticism, especially if it is fully justified. I get the impression that he might, on occasion, actually be prompted to do the right thing, if only to garner some applause from people he secretly wants to respect him, and who never will if he remains as much an ideologue as he is promising to be as of now. |

10. Interesting
good points, but I was actually thinking the complete opposite - Gorusch might rule against Trump, but I think Kavanaugh was chosen by Trump because specifically for his Unitary Executive views

12. Could be I'm completely wrong and you're 100% right
I just get the impression that Gorsuch is an ice cold rigid unmovable object, where Kavanaugh is desperate for some accolades that he will never get unless he earns some respect the hard way--by deserving it. The radical right may cheer him on Facebook, but he will be trashed by legal scholars until the end of his days if he tows the right wing line forever. If his ego is satisfied with that, then we are sunk. If he wants some recognition from people whose respect matters, then he will show some humanity, despite his professed devotion to praising the emperor's new clothes.

8. Roberts will be the swing vote, who knows which way. If the SC refuses to enforce the Constitution.
It's over Johnny.
