The four Republicans running for the Republican nomination for President:

Would not Trump supporters be more likely to listen to criticism of Trump from these Republicans, rather than to listen to any criticism of Trump from Democrats? It seems to me a good strategy would be to pit Republican against Republican, rather than Trump Republicans against the Democrats?

We will at most see an occasional cameo by these guys on the Sunday talk shows, and an occasional spot on Hardball, where Matthews slaps them around for even thinking any of them has the slightest chance of being quoted any closer to the Front Page than behind the sports section and next week's weather.

And I can usually get more unbiased reporting from the German press than when I'm back home, although the few times I've actually seen Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell, they do come up with some good insight. Most German news is either on ARD or ZDF, and as they are government-sponsored stations with complete autonomy, they don't have any money threats hanging over their heads.
