Conservative propaganda has saturated the Internet

When I look something up on YouTube, usually a liberal topic or person, I see conservative propaganda all around it. A completely unrelated clip pops-up in the first few windows, side ads and pre-clip ads. I just saw a pre-clip ad in front of a Trevor Noah clip advertising free online civics classes. They are going to teach the right understanding about civics as intended by our original leaders. I looked up the college and it is a conservative college.

In contrast, I never see liberal ads.

I would assume it will get worse over the next year. The radial RW spends money on this propaganda, why? Because it works.

I wonder why I never see liberal ads?

1. YouTube ads are based on browsing habits.

I almost never see any political ads on YouTube, regardless of the content I am watching. I do see tons of ads for recording equipment/software, though.

If you login to YouTube or google, your browsing habits follow you across devices.

5. I don't think the average computer user even knows about clearing their computer of trackers.

We can't just diss this issue because you say I don't clear enough of the trackers. That is not the issue nor the point.

I explained how YouTube/Google ads work, you said you clear your “trackers”. I said it’s unlikely that you do.
Unless you’re using a VPN and log in to zero websites, you are being tracked.

6. This is what happened in 2016. The internet was filled with RW bullshit! We need to counter that!

Maybe there are some Democratic PACS that could do it.

Russian took down the US and the UK with these tactics.

7. As with Facebook, I use YouTube as a one-click resource, then leave. n/t

I NEVER respond to ads in either venue. I don't care what kind of tracking is done. I get in and I get out, and I almost never respond to ANY ad. I suppose I'm a marketer's nightmare, but tough shit.
