Let me get this straight....

Let me get this straight.... there are some people who actually think it's OK that the president of the United States told the president of Ukraine that he won't get aid that was designated by congress unless he starts an investigation into his political rival, and that he has to stand in front of the press and read a prepared statement, written by our country?

Are there some people who actually think that's OK? Seriously? I mean, when we get to the part where they wanted him to read a prepared statement....

I would like to see someone really try to defend this, in public. Since when is it OK just to provide a written statement for the leader of another country to read, at all? Isn't that alone just a little "Not Right?"

This is like a bad movie, like the character in Dumb and Dumber becomes president.... "Oh I know! Let's give him a written statement that says Biden is being investigated, and make him read it! Then we can use it in our campaign ads! That will work! Yeah! Awesome idea bro!... .You're a genius!"

He should be toast by now.

These people are ignorant of our laws and norms. Which is also to say: they're probably Fox viewers. NCLefty Nov 2019 #2

I'm also not surprised that there are people that think the government is fine torturing people in contravention of the Geneva Convention. I'm not surprised by any of it. I've been around people my whole like who hold "might makes right" as a central tenet of the personal philosophies. They want freedom for THEMSELVES and people like them, everyone else can go to hell. It sickens me, but doesn't surprise me.

I'm also reminded of the OJ trial, where a large number of Americans wanted to "will" him into innocence because America still has racial injustice.

But to be fair... these are the same idiots who think it is ok to rape a woman because she had a beer.

It's OK for a RePutin president to do that, and to do anything else that keeps all the RePutins in office and out of prison. Everyone else (Democrats) must obey all laws, rules and ethical practices, or face the pretend moral outrage of the previously mentioned RePutins.

This is what must happen for fairness' sake.
