Hey Folks....Watch Mississippi....Seriously....

Democrats might not take that Governors seat but Mississippi is getting real too close for comfort for the REPUKES. Believe it...

Tate Reeves - Republican - 159,781 - 51.7%
Jim Hood - Democrat - 145,470 - 47.1

and only 43% of precincts are reporting thus far....

Trump won the election in Mississippi with 57.9% of the vote, while Hillary Clinton received 40.1% of the vote.

SO, this should be a total WINNING BIGLY WIPEOUT for the repugs, but NOPE!!!

an Electoral College system, where one candidate could win the popular vote by up to 9% and still lose the election. The system was designed in the late 19th century, with very specific language that spelled out that the main goal was to retain power in the hands of the white man.

A lot to pick up for Hood but for this race to be within this margin is interesting indeed in a deeply red state. Guess Drump's "visit" did some motivation for Mississippi Democrats to put forth an effort here. Maybe he should "visit" more often between now and the 2020 Election:

Tate Reeves - Republican - 246,168 - 54.0%
Jim Hood - Democrat - 203,888 - 44.7

61% Reporting....

Tate Reeves - Republican - 279,109 - 53.2%
Jim Hood - Democrat - 239,111 - 45.6%

67% Reporting.

ANYWHERE ELSE nearly this would be a blowout BUT....this is MISSISSIPPI Folks.

Trump is Toxic and this is beautiful. Remember, he "visited" there.

This would be like a Conservative getting 45% in Berkeley. Certainly a good sign. Man, I hope this is a precursor to 2020.
