Lewiston/Auburn took a lot of shit when they accepted Somalian refugees many, many years ago. They have become an important part of these communities. Happy to see that the seeds of democracy sprout from all people who immigrate to this country.

My kid went to college in Lewiston and worked with the Somali community while there. It’s great they finally will have representation in Lewiston!
