"Dad" was in for 2 terms (from 2007 - 2015) before Bevin got in and torpedoed all that had been done.

I really really really hope this holds. I know people have written off KY as a "deep deep red" state but it's not. The urban areas are blue and getting every last drop out of them can really help with certain state-wide races if the turnout can be achieved.

(10,151 posts)Trump campaigning there. Despite Gerrymandering, voter suppression and easily manipulated and faulty voting machines, they got a Democratic leader of the state.
Kentucky overwhelmed the cheat machine. It was an extremely high turnout for this type of election.
