Another plus of winning last night.

We have to remember our future leaders will come from the states. We haven't been winning much until recently. We didn't seem to care about state and local elections, but that is where our future comes from! We develop our future talent from the states, people in the state legislature may someday run for the US House and Senate or President one day. Barack Obama came that route.

Congratulations to all of the Democrats who won last night now it is on to 2020. We vote we win!

We've been far too lax in allowing local and state governments to be in Repug control. They are the ones that have worked to change voting laws, costing far too many people to lose their chance to vote.

GET OUT THE VOTE - we must do that to win!

a generation of republican dominance means that we don't have enough potential candidates for the statewide offices.

so it's good to have that pipeline of future talent who understand their local issues and constituents, draw fair district lines, and build up support for progressive legislation right from the local level.

Dean's 50 state strategy got us both houses of congress in 2006 and Obama in 2008.
