Senate Republicans consider including Bidens in impeachment trial

Senate Republicans are privately debating whether they should use an impeachment trial of President Trump to scrutinize former vice president Joe Biden and his son Hunter as some Trump allies push to call them as witnesses while others dismiss the suggestion as a risky political ploy.

The ongoing discussions are a revealing glimpse into the fault lines in the GOP ahead of a possible trial of Trump in the Senate, where there are varying appetites among Republicans for the type of political combat relished by the president and his most ardent defenders.

Among a group of Trump’s allies inside and outside Congress, there is intense and growing interest in countering the House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry by delving into Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine and China. Because his father was vice president at the time, these allies think it could be a way to explain why Trump pressed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a July 25 phone call to “look into” the Bidens, who have denied any wrongdoing ...

The conspiracy that Trump and the right wing* are pushing. I think I have it right.

In 2016 Hillary Clinton and her campaign were working with corrupt actors in the Ukraine
in order to frame Vlad Putin and Russia that they were trying to rig the Americans elections
and that Hillary or her people had her email server which contained tons of evidence of her
crimes/corruption smuggled out of America and sent to these corrupt actors in the Ukraine
where it remains hidden to this day. Bill Barr, Rudy, and others have been traveling or calling
around the world in order to find evidence of this conspiracy which has falsely ensnared in
the Trump and others in this conspiracy.

BTW part 2 if there is a trial in the Senate it can only be for the person that was impeached.

3. Close, but the email server they harp on is the one from the DNC w/evidence of the hacking ...

Which was actually (i've heard) more like 130 servers (perhaps cloud-based not regular on-location servers? not sure on that one). However the servers were imaged (exact copies of all data they contained) by Crowdstrike (a US, not Ukrainian company) and sent to the FBI, which is exactly what they asked for and have long since said that the DNC did everything they asked (i.e. FBI never asked for the physical hardware, ever).
