Reminds me of the time CNN went to this (of course) small-town diner in Iowa the weekend before the election, and the reaction everyone remembered was the older man in overalls who said that he'd "vote fer Bush - 'cause he's someone I'd rather a beer with!"

That quip was worth 1000 endorsements for Dubya, at least.

So many "toons" are not rib tickling funny. But they are mind awakening.

Hopes that some of the doltards will actually see some of them and go "Hey, what's that mean?" And start to think.

Humor and variants are often the most successful ways of getting information into closed spaces.
