I'm disappointed. I thought he'd seize this opportunity, even if it was to shape his own agenda. More naivete on my part.

He was one of the founders of PNAC and believes in right wing domestic policies and the idea that the United States should dominate the world. That is why he is angry at Trump. He sees Trump as making America weak.

He doesn’t even think in terms of dominating it in scientific research, or social issues or stopping hunger or human welfare. He believes in being The ONLY military superpower on the planet so that the US is the only country to benefit.

This can’t be stressed enough. It colors everything he does and says. He wants war and he’s willing to use our entire military might to get complete power, not to right wrongs, defend other countries or spread Democracy.

I can't foresee any circumstance where he isn't an asshole.

Hopefully he'll still be useful.
