Or will all future Presidents and candidates for President no longer be restrained by any of the laws that have been summarily ignored by this pox on our republic? Would a future Republican President spit on due process and checks and balances and the intelligence community and our allies because trump has set the precedent?

I don't think Nixon deserved life, but he should have served some time. Pardons and 'moving forward' with no real repercussions for his guilt just kicked the criminality problem forward instead of dealing with it.

Now, Trump? Given the real possibility of proving treason, he really ought to get locked up for good.

Talk about his good points there.

Should take very little time. Leaves plenty of time to list his bad points.

That part of the wake may go on for days though.
