'Absent yourself': Transcripts reveal what Schiff told Gaetz when he crashed secure hearing
The House committees leading the impeachment inquiry released transcripts on Friday detailing the moment Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., stormed the secure room where a deposition was taking place and interrupted the proceedings.
Gaetz and other Republican lawmakers apparently burst into the room, known as a SCIF, during testimony by Fiona Hill, President Donald Trump's former adviser on Russia. In what a House Intelligence Committee official has described as a "major security breach," some Republicans brought their cellphones into the room.
In the transcript, Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is quoted as saying: "Mr. Gaetz, you're not permitted to be in the room. Please leave." At another point, Schiff tells Gaetz to "absent yourself" from the SCIF.
Rep. Gym Jordan, R-Ohio, ranking member on the House Oversight Committee and one of Trump's key allies in Congress, came to Gaetz's defense. He told Schiff that Gaetz is "going to stay and listen to the testimony," according to the transcript.

Supposedly Gaetz was right in Schiff's face. His alcohol drenched breath must have been nasty.
