Russia was into the voter d-bases in Wisconsin down to the county level. BTW The Russians
needed inside help in order to know where to "rat fuck" to elections.

... to hear the constant drumbeat of "The American people..." from media. The latest is about impeachment... They say "Impeachment reverses the will of the American people." WRONG! The will of the American people was already reversed. Say it reverses the "election" to be correct, since Crooked Donald was elected. But he was not the the vote winner. Hillary Clinton was the most popular candidate. Also, the polls were correct, withing the margin of error - they were not polling the Electoral Collage. All the time I hear the polls were wrong... no, they picked Al Gore and Hillary; they were correct.

The last real exit poll had the vote something like

Males: 49% Kerry. 48.5% Bush

Females. 51% Kerry. 47% Bush

It was so God Damn dirty it was not funny.

or Oklahoma.

(not until we get rid of the Electoral College anyway)

Seriously, you are 100% correct but I hope in 2020 Dem strategy is based on the rules that ARE, not the rules that should be. (I know that isn't the point of your post, but to some extent we can point to this as part of the problem in 2016, IMO)

it was close enough to steal and she went to CA to boost her pop vote so she wouldn't be accused of winning illegitimately if she lost the popular vote. (so a theory goes, anyway, and I lean toward it somewhat)

News flash: no way in hell a Dem wins the electoral college and loses the popular vote, in the current political climate. No Dem candidate should EVER worry about that.

Meanwhile if candidate is only ahead by a few percentage points in a swing state with lots of EC votes, better do whatever it takes to shore up that front. Because the GOP WILL try to steal it. (campaign should consider who holds said state's row offices too, in assessing risk)

So it really has nothing at all to do with "overturning an election", a concept that, of course, no republican even remotely thought of when they impeached bill Clinton.

everything they have. I think their only limits are what they personally can get away with. A big terrorist attack next summer or fall would help them.

That said, with less than a year of the term to go and with control of the senate, I'm wondering if circumstances might develop that could cause them to let Speaker Pelosi take office and somehow use that as a springboard for a turnaround in 2020.

Whatever, it's ALL about keeping and growing power for them.
