Haley: Top Trump aides tried to get me to undermine him

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley claims two of President Trump’s former senior advisers tried to get her to undermine him to “save the country,” The Washington Post reported Sunday, citing Haley’s upcoming memoir and an interview with her.

According to the newspaper, Haley said former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and former White House chief of staff John Kelly would try to get her to work around the president.

My question is, how many more did Kelly and Tillerson approach? She was a relative outsider being in the UN...getting direction from the White House, relaying input from other ambassadors, etc. But a minor principle on deciding matters...when invited.

So, I have to think Kelly and Tillerson had plenty others on board with them. So my next question, who do they have as "stay behinds"? People relaying to them whats going on and advising them how to proceed.

Wouldn't it be ultimately ironic that Trump, with a penchant for firing people who defy him...is undone because of firing people.

Let me caveat some things here that will obviously get me flamed; I no longer look at this as a D vs. R situation; I thing there are some on the right who are covertly passing info on to our side. We've been "right" and knew exactly where to look way too many fucking times. And while Trump is on a wild goose chase on looking for some betraying senior adviser, he's already fired them, hence why he can't find them. It's low level operatives...who he can't fire because if he does, then he can't carry out what he wants.
