It is indeed important to remind people that there were no investigations happening at the time Biden wanted the corrupt prosecutor gone. At the same time, and I may not understand the OP correctly, in the absence of any evidence, let's not start with insinuations that there was cause for fear of scrutiny for either Biden or his son.
Biden did his job as a representative of the US Government and he acted in accordance with and under guidance of the Obama Administration. He could talk about what he did on the record in public, there was no need to transfer recordings of these talks to secure servers, hidden away from the public.
Yet, Trump's base is this deluded that they believe that the video showing Biden talking about this is proof for corruption and his plot to retaliate against the prosecutor. They really believe that someone would be so stupid and arrogant to talk about and admit their crimes in public.
I'm not joking, they really believe that they have literal video evidence of this crime.
