I don't think trying a mass impeachment would go over well. That would play into the coup narrative. Just let it develop on its own.

Of course, that's partly because Republicans are better at pounding home a message.

Nonetheless, the public is fragile.

52% say Democrats have mishandled the proceedings. Now, an even higher percentage say Trump has done a poor job of handling impeachment, but that's a given at this point.

The Republican message about a lack of transparency and due process has obviously taken hold in the minds of more than just Trump's base. Because they constantly beat that drum. There's long been a tendency among Democrats to believe truth will win out and that Republican propaganda only works on the fringe. I don't know how else to explain why Dems don't do better at messaging. Republicans, as awful as they are, do understand the value in repetition of a single talking point. For as long as I can remember, the #1 criticism of the Democratic Party has to do with messaging. Republicans get narrative. They get how to establish a dominant narrative, such as "liberal media" (now a household phrase).

...but nowhere near as bad as Trump. He may have known of his corruption....and even probably leaked some stories about him just to show he was part of the "effort" to save the government. But he's a fill in if Trump is impeached and he knows this...as does everyone else. So going after him just looks petty, he's out either way.
