Sarah Palin found out about husband's plan for divorce in email, insists marriage is not over

Sarah Palin found out about her husband's divorce plans in an email from his lawyer, she revealed in a new interview.

The former governor of Alaska and vice presidential candidate told James Dobson, founder of the Family Talk Christian ministry, that she received an email from Todd Palin’s attorney in June.

Todd Palin filed for divorce on his birthday in September and shortly after the couple’s 31st wedding anniversary.

“I thought I got shot,” she told Dobson of the filing.
