The republicans have comported themselves with great shame.

They have no ability to defend Trump so they discuss irrelevant distractions.

Mr. Kent and Mr. Taylor seem genuinely shocked about the behavior of the republicans on the committee.

Mr. Kent and Mr. Taylor are serious people. They are not politicians. They seem taken aback by the silliness.
